Setting The Tone.

As I sat down at the keyboard to write this first message, I was overwhelmed by the number of issues that require immediate attention. However, before I even go there, I'd like to share a little about how I see this mission coming together. First, from this point forward I will use the acronym TEAM , for several reasons. First, it's a great acronyn that truly describes what The Equality Alliance Mission is all about, TEAMwork. The success of TEAM weights heavily upon it's members and their desire to insure that everyone receives equal rights. The second reason is the ease of use and name identification. People can clearly understand the word TEAM while the organization name is long and elusive. I do believe the full name worthy of our cause and would like to break down my thinking on that.
- The = Used before noun phrases to denote particular, specified persons.
- Equality = The state or quality of being equal.
- Alliance = A connection based on common interests.
- Mission = A body of persons sent to conduct negotiations or establish relations, and share knowledge.
- TEAM = A group organized to work together.
TEAM has established some primary goals:
- To increase Voter Registration.
- To monitor and react to the conservative Christian Movement.
- To monitor and react to bias in News Reporting and Other Media.
- To Insure the Separation of Church and State.
- To Assist Other Groups and Individuals in Obtaining Equality.
- To Promote the Truth
- To Mobilize Individuals to Be Active Participants in The Protection of Rights.
All new members will receive an email shortly after signup with information outlining how they can participate. I look forward to you becoming a member of TEAM and helping us insure equality for all.
